Zwischen den COVID-Wellen konnten wir etwas Urlaub an der Atlantikküste machen.
Um dort hinzugelangen sind wird dem Sankt-Lorenz-Strom gen Nord-Osten gefolgt (siehe Karte, das X markiert den Punkt). Eine Überfahrt dauert hier ca. 2 h und man hat mehr das Gefühl am Meer zu sein, als an einem Fluss.
Der Sankt-Lorenz-Strom ist hier bis zu 400 Meter tief. Zum Vergleich, die Nordsee bei Helgoland ist nicht tiefer als 50 Meter. Wir haben hier bei Dauerregen eine Walsichtungs-Kajak-Tour gemacht. Allerdings ist es sehr schwierig die Wale zu filmen, da sie sehr spontan auftauchen und dann auch schnell wieder abtauchen. Hier meine besten Versuche:
